Columbus Police Department has announced that a few openings remain for the Hook a Kid on Fishing event, planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24. The event is open to children ages 9 to 14.
All equipment, bait and lunch will be provided and no prior experience in fishing is required.
The location is not being publicized to limit attendance to those who have registered.
To register, email Officer Greg Ross at gross@columbus.in.gov by no later than today.
Include a parent or guardian’s name, participant’s name, age and a mailing address in the email.
