Tyler Duncan carded an opening-round 3-over-par 75 Thursday and is tied for 115th place with minus-2 points in the Barracuda Championship.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 38 on the front nine and 37 on the back at Montreux Golf & Country Club in Nevada. He was even-par through 14 holes, but bogeyed No. 15 and double-bogeyed No. 18.
David Lingmerth leads the event with 18 points. Tyrone Van Aswegen and Robert Streb are tied for second with 13.
