Cummins Inc. said that its planned two-month shutdown of Columbus Midrange Engine Plant, where 6.7-liter engines for the Dodge Ram pickup truck were produced, had been shortened to about three weeks.

Less than a month after Stuart’s clothing store closed in The Commons Mall, Cummins Engine Co. announced plans to use the 13,000-square-foot space as an office for its purchasing department.
