North wins tri match
GREENSBURG — Sixth-ranked Columbus North finished first, and Columbus East took third Monday in a tri match at Greensburg Country Club.
The Bull Dogs finished with a 161 team total. Host Greensburg finished second with a 187, and the Olympians had a 194.
North’s Natahly Munnicha won medalist honors with a 38. Ella Wilks carded a 40, Yestika Nischol added a 41, Annie Anderson had a 42 and Gwen Anderson and Macy Euler each shot 46.
Lauren Steinwedel led East with a 41. Harley Gant carded a 45, Katie Hong added a 53, Peyton Meier shot 55, Mattie Shoaf had a 59 and Avery Brooks finished with a 58.
Panthers take second
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County finished second in a tri match at St. Anne’s. Seymour won with a 191 to 214 for the Panthers and 229 for Madison.
Sophia Curry led Jennings with a 42. Ellie Hearne carded a 47, Emy Ralston added a 61, Abby Rowlett shot 64 and Lavanna Rickly had a 68.

East sweeps Shelbyville
SHELBYVILLE — Columbus East had a tough third set, but held on for a 25-13, 25-21, 27-25 win at Shelbyville.
Rilee Jessee led the Olympians (6-3) with 12 kills and 17 digs. Reece Whitehead added five kills and 12 digs.
Also for East, Kenzie Foster tallied nine digs. Allison Mack had five kills and five digs.
Cougars win in three
GREENSBURG — South Decatur snapped an eight-match losing streak with a 25-17, 25-18, 27-25 win against Crothersville.
Lana Bell pounded eight kills, Whitnye Burton recorded 13 assists, Lily Rigby tallied 14 digs and Kalie Fry served seven aces to lead the Cougars (2-14).
Also for South Decatur, Bell added eight digs and three aces. Loryn Pate notched seven kills, and Fry had three assists.

Indians edge Jets
HOPE — Hauser won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches, but Milan took the other three spots to claim a 3-2 victory.
Ethan Wallace beat Carter Wade 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Keagan Miller downed Nathan Hancock 6-2, 7-6 (4) at No. 2 singles for the Jets (0-5).
Hauser’s Dawson Paul fell to Caleb Prozanski 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Sam Miller and Levi Gollmer lost to Braden Furr and Bo Wade 6-4, 6-2 at #1 doubles, and Caleb Hoover and Carson Rose fell to Shane Phelps and Joe Hawk 6-4, 7-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Eagles blank Artesians
NASHVILLE — Brown County won four matches in straight sets in a 5-0 win against Martinsville.
Aaron McCann beat Nate Viewegh 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5) at No. 1 singles, Josh Miller downed Aiden O’Connor 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Nolan Patterson topped Aiden Bunnell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Eagles (10-1).
Brown County’s Aiden Burt and Noah Cochran beat Luis Gonzalez and Gage Jessee 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Eli Sichting and Austen Deckard blanked Clayton Brown and Prince Patel 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Lancers get first win
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh picked up its first win of the season, 4-1 Mid-Hoosier Conference decision against Morristown.
Brayden McManaway beat Tyler Schonfeld 6-0, 7-5 at No. 1 singles, Max Blandford downed Grant Kessler 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Travis Jones topped Jerry Riley 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (1-4, 1-2). Kolton Reed and Trevor Moon beat Shane Riley and Nick Owens 7-5, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Edinburgh’s Parker Newman and Preston Smith fell to Noah Klinger and Jacob Wood 6-3, 1-6, (10-6) at No. 1 doubles.
Pirates top Panthers

Wyatt St. John fell to Brett Stringer 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Owen Law lost to Isaac Tebbe 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Justin Ramey fell to Charlie Pumphrey 4-6, 6-3, (10-8) at No. 3 singles for the Panthers (4-6).
Jennings’ Joe Kelley and Jacob Vogel lost to Ben Overstock and Sam Bower 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles. Alex Leach and Greyson Jackson fell to Abe Tebbe and Bryce Stringer 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Panthers shut out Shiners
NORTH VERNON — Carissa Sablehaus recorded two saves, including one on a penalty kick, in her first varsity action to preserve Jennings County’s 2-0 shutout of Rising Sun.
Kayla Pappenheim and Morgan Lane scored goals for the Panthers (7-2). Averi Zamora had an assist.
Jennings outshot the Shiners 9-2. Kenna Maschino played the first half in goal and did not face a shot on goal.
