Irma M. Pocock, 94, of Columbus, passed from this life at 3:20 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.

Irma was born May 28, 1925, in Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Stewart and Frieda Fisher Euler.

Mrs. Pocock loved her Lord, her family and friends and enjoyed traveling.

Immediately after high school Irma traveled to Washington, DC to work for the FBI in support of the War effort.

She was a founding member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church and served as secretary for many years.

Upon returning to Columbus, she went to work at Cummins Engine Company where she met her husband, Roger W. Pocock.

They lived in Glasgow, Scotland for two years and had two sons, Kevin Pocock and Paul Pocock.

Survivors include her son, Paul (Aija) Pocock of Columbus; grandchildren, Daniel (Kerri) Pocock, Jennifer Pocock, Erik Hoover, Anja Hoover, Elise Hoover and Annika Hoover; brother, Herbert (Janet) Euler of Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law, Betty Euler of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kevin Pocock; and brothers, Roger, George and Robert Euler.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Four Seasons Chapel with Chaplain Karen Hargett officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to time of service. Private burial will take place at Vernon Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fairlawn Presbyterian Church.
