INDIANAPOLIS

Keenan Alexander Quinn, 33, of Indianapolis, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his residence.

Keenan was born on February 25, 1986 in Columbus the son of Greg K. and Chris A. Wingham Berry.

He was a 2004 graduate of Columbus North High School, worked for Phoenix Financial Services and enjoyed volunteering at Progress House, Inc.

Keenan was a very compassionate, thoughtful, and loving soul. He was authentic, strong, brave, kind, smart, humble, funny, honest, self-reflective, and respectful. Keenan was a great friend, son, brother, and uncle. He loved his nieces and nephews and spending time with them. Keenan touched the hearts of everyone he met and will be dearly missed every single day. The world will not be the same without his light, but it is better for it.

Keenan was a very talented artist and had a passion for drawing. His favorite artists were M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali. He loved cars, lifting weights, and physical fitness. Keenan was a great cook and was known to make delicious smoothies, biscuits and gravy, and he never met a pancake he didn’t like. He loved to learn about interesting things and was always up for the challenge of a new skill or point of view.

Survivors include his mother, Chris A. Berry of Columbus; father, Greg K. Quinn of Columbus; siblings, Dara Shumaker of Columbus, Crystal (Aaron) Shumaker of Southbury, Connecticut, Colin Quinn of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Shelby Thompson, Jackson Shumaker, Max Erdman and Harper Mullins, all of Columbus and Ruby, Archer, Weston and Jade White of Southbury, Connecticut; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Carol Wingham of Henryville, Bob and Lou Adair of Bloomington; aunts and uncles, Jerry (Lorraine) Quinn, Kelly Wingham, Chandy (Terry) Sayre, Kent (Brenda) Wingham; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Debbie McCoy-Quinn; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lorraine Quinn; and an uncle, Richard Quinn.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 12:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Andy Robbins officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Keenan to Progress House, Inc. of Indianapolis, care of the funeral home.

Cremation will take place following services.
