CARMEL — Columbus North carded a 334 in Friday’s first round of the Girls Golf State Finals and sits in sixth place going into today’s final round.
The sixth-ranked Bull Dogs were led by junior Nathaly Munnicha, who fired a 2-over-par 74. Munnicha is in fifth place individually, four shots behind leader Morgan Dabagia of Homestead, who is at 2-under 70.
Second-ranked Homestead leads the field at 302, nine shots ahead of No. 1 and defending state champion Evansville North. Carmel is third at 323, one shot ahead of Zionsville and two better than Westfield.

Yestika Nischol carded an 83, and Annie Anderson added an 84 for the Bull Dogs. Ella Wilks shot 93, and Gwen Anderson had a 100.
The Bull Dogs will tee off between 9:42 and 10:18 a.m. today on No. 1.
