Four Columbus Flames youth hockey teams were in action last weekend and had mixed results.

Peewee Flames A beat the Indy Fuel 1-0 and 4-1. Westin Davis netted one goal and two assists; Wyatt Warner added one goal and two assists; Hayden Johnson Bryce McDonald and Lance Kitterman all scored one goal and Vaughn Moenssen and Sawyer Patterson had 1 assist. Jackson Wheatley was in net with a save percentage of 95.0 percent.

Squirts Flames Orange beat Owensboro 7-2 and fell to Owensboro 11-5. Drew Moenssen recorded four goals and one assist, Ayden Richardson added one goal and three assists, Ryan McGhehey and Tsukasa Udo each scored three goals and Henry Schloemer had one goal. Cooper Ross notched two assists, and John Tuttle added one assist. Gabriel Marsh played two periods with a save percentage of 77.8 percent, and Hudson Beckom played four periods with a save percentage of 38.9 percent.

Peewee Flames B lost to the Champaign Chiefs 3-1 and then beat the Chiefs 5-3. Sawyer Patterson netted three goals, Vaughn Moenssen added two goals and one assist, John Warble had one goal and one assist and Jonah Young notched one assist. Lane Barringer was in net.

Bantam Flames fell to Evansville 6-2 and 7-3 and to West Virginia 8-3 and 13-4. Will Kushner scored three goals; Caleb McGhehey recorded two goals and three assists; Alex Clark scored two goals; Nicholas Goggins had one goal and two assists; JW Roberts added one goal and one assist, Samuel McGhehey, Jack Warble and Cole Vreeland all scored one goal and Nate Balasia and Dane Weinzapfel each had 1 assist. Ben Blanz played two games with a save percentage of 70.0 percent, and Zach Goggins played two games with a save percentage of 67.4 percent.
