Olympians rout Cougars
BLOOMINGTON — Koryn Greiwe scored 22 points, and freshman Gabby Dean recorded her first career triple-double Tuesday night to lead Columbus East to a 72-46 win at Bloomington North.
Dean finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks, and Whitley Rankin returned from an illness to score a season-high 15 points for the Olympians (6-2). Greiwe dished out nine assists and hit five of East’s nine 3-pointers.
"Everybody contributed," East coach Danny Brown said. "It was a good team win. We shared the basketball and played good team ball tonight. It’s always a good win when you can get everybody involved and get everybody in the game, and that’s what we did tonight."
Bull Dogs fall in OT
INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North battled back from a 23-17 halftime deficit to force overtime, but Heritage Christian outscored the Bull Dogs 2-0 in the extra period to pull out a 44-42 win.
Sierra Norman led North (2-5) with 14 points. Kylah Lawson scored 11, and Annie Anderson added nine.
Eagles down Mitchell
NASHVILLE — Brown County and Mitchell were tied 20-20 at halftime before the Eagles took control in the second half for a 58-35 victory.
Allison Stogsdill scored 16 points to lead Brown County (4-1), which made 11 3-pointers. Anna Fleetwood added 14 points, and Abby Fleetwood had 12.
Stars stop Panthers
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County led Bedford North Lawrence 26-22 at halftime and were tied after three quarters, but the Stars rallied in the fourth to post a 53-43 Hoosier Hills Conference win.
Addyson Kent led the Panthers (2-4, 0-2) with 28 points.
Lancers beat Twisters
OLDENBURG — Edinburgh jumped out to a 25-14 halftime lead and went on to hand Oldenburg Academy a 55-35 defeat.
Haven Link led the Lancers (6-1) with 18 points. Destiney Ramey added 15.

Panthers top Eagles
NORTH VERNON — Brown County had to forfeit seven of the 14 weight classes, and Jennings County posted a 55-18 victory.
Logan Askew (220 pounds) won by pin for the Panthers. Jenn Ramirez (106), Evan Sochaki (113), Carson Sorrells (120), Teagan Johnson (126), Joey Moran (138), Cameron Woodard (182) and Crayton Morrison (195) all won by forfeit.
Jennings’ Mike Pemberton (132) won by major decision. Teagan Trotter (160) won by decision.
Brown County’s David Tucker (145) and Sam Allen (285) won by pin. Aiden Vaught (152) and Reid Davis (170) won by decision.
