Emergency Management issues travel advisory

Bartholomew County Emergency Management has issued an advisory for Bartholomew County’s travel status tonight.
Emergency Management Director Shannan Hinton said there have been reports of a few accidents throughout the county and slick road conditions from both the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.
Low visibility is also being reported in some areas of the county, Hinton said.
The advisory level asks drivers to use caution if you have to drive and allow extra travel time and increased distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.
Advisory Level: Yellow
The lowest level of local travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
