The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a flood warning for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh beginning Sunday morning.
At 7:30 a.m. today, the river stage was 4.2 feet and flood stage is 11 feet. Minor flooding is forecast by Sunday morning with the river rising to nearly 12.7 feet by Monday afternoon.
A flood warning has also been issued for the East Fork White River from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday night. At 10 a.m. today, the stage was 2.1 feet, and flood stage is 9.0 feet. The forecast is for the East Fork White River to rise to near 13.2 feet by Sunday afternoon, falling to below flood stage Tuesday morning.
