Tyler Duncan fired a 2-under-par 69 Friday to move into a tie for 45th place and make the cut in The Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, eagled the first hole, then played even the rest of the day. He sits at even-par 142 at the midway point.
Matt Kuchar leads the tournament at 9-under 133. Harold Varner III, Rory McIlroy and Wyndham Clark are tied for second at 7-under 135.
