DAYTON, Tennessee — The Columbus Christian boys basketball team came away with a runner-up finish in the Division 8 bracket of the National Association of Christian Athletes Tournament following a 67-37 loss to Maryville (Tennessee) Christian.
Maryville Christian jumped out to a 19-3 lead after one quarter, and the Crusaders (14-27) couldn’t recover.
Gabe Ridder led Columbus Christian with 11 points. Garrett Spurgeon added seven.
The Columbus Christian girls also finished second in the NACA Division 8 tournament after falling to Maryville Christian in the finals on Friday.
