Chamber postpones two events due to virus concerns

The Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce is postponing its annual meeting scheduled for March 25, rescheduling the lunch event to May 15, due to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.

The annual meeting is the organization’s most well-attended event. To date, more than 430 tickets have been sold. All tickets will be honored on the rescheduled date, said Cindy Frey, president of the chamber.

The Women in Leadership lunch, which was scheduled for May 15 at The Commons, will be rescheduled for later this year, Frey said Thursday.
