The Bartholomew County Coroner’s office is investigating a death case locally for possible COVID-19.
Coroner Clayton Nolting said the coroner’s office has investigated 54 deaths so far this year, and only one is under investigation for novel coronavirus. Test results are expected in seven to 10 days.
No identification on the individual is being released at this time, pending the test results and a ruling on the cause of death, Nolting said.
