Owners of the Columbus food firm Low Carb Revolution would like to thank those they call “front-line heroes working on Easter” amid the COVID-19 crisis with 65 personally donated frozen meals Sunday for employees of Columbus Regional Health.
And the company is inviting the public to sponsor another 113 meals to cover other Columbus Regional Health employees at $5 per meal for a needed total of $565. Owners and married couple Alexa and Samantha Lemley are calling the dinners “health care hero meals.”
Low Carb Revolution frozen meals retail between $8.50 and $12.50, according to the owners. If more than 113 meals are purchased by residents, overage will be donated to workers at other essential businesses working on Easter, the Lemleys said.
The online listing for the meals can be found at lowcarb-revolution.com/collections/frozen-foods. Scroll to the bottom of the page to click on the icon labeled Hero Meals.
