The Columbus Police Department is investigating a crash involving a man who suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on Friday evening.
Shortly before 8 p.m., CPD officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Jonesville Road where witnesses said the man reportedly attempted to run across Jonesville Road after a disturbance near the Circle K Gas Station in Garden City and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound.
The injured man was later flown by medical helicopter to Indianapolis. At this time, there is no update to his condition. The crash remains under investigation.
