For the past nearly eight years I have served as Bartholomew County Commissioner. While I am not running for reelection, I will take with me many fond memories of my time serving our great county.
During my tenure, I have gained an enormous amount of respect and admiration for all of our county’s citizens. Through the years, and certainly over the past several months, I have witnessed collaboration, hard work, and dedication by many of our county’s public officials and residents in making our county a safe community.
Bartholomew County is certainly a special place with many exceptional people. I believe one such exceptional person is currently running for judge in the Republican Primary.
I am happy to support Scott Andrews in his election to become the next judge of Bartholomew County Superior Court 2.
I have known Scott Andrews for a long time. Over the years, I have watched Scott mature into a practical, sensible and upright gentleman. He is honest and his life experiences have taught him the value of empathy and compassion. Scott and his family have a long history in our county and they are invested in our community. Scott has a long established legal career in our community, has impeccable integrity, and I know he will serve our county as judge with dignity and honor.
Scott is fair, unbiased, and I know he will have a realistic and fair application of the law in the courtroom.
Scott will certainly be a public official that I am confident will be dedicated to making our county a great place to live, work and play. One such example of Scott’s dedication to improving our county is his current participation in our county’s Drug Recovery Court.
He has a passion for helping eliminate the growing drug problem in our county, and Scott did not just sit on the sidelines. He got involved, and that is very commendable.
With his knowledge and experience, Scott is ready to take the bench in Superior Court 2, and he will be able to make fair, just, and reasoned decisions. Our county cannot go wrong by electing Scott.
It is my pleasure to endorse Scott Andrews for Judge of Bartholomew County Superior Court 2.
I will be voting for Scott in the Republican Primary and I hope all of my fellow Republicans vote for him as well.
