COLUMBUS, Ind. — Five victims are listed in a court document filed in the case of a Clifford man accused of molesting children.
One of the accusers said he had observed approximately 10 boys going in and out of Bret Caldwell’s home, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Bartholomew Superior Court 1.
Caldwell, 55, of 4670 E. County Road 550N, Clifford, has been arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of Level 1 felony child molesting, two counts of Level 4 felony sexual misconduct with a minor, Level 6 felony contributing to the delinquency of a minor and Level 6 felony sexual battery, according to the Bartholomew County Sheriff Department.
Most of the victims told investigators they were enticed to go to the home with such things as money, alcohol, vacations, shopping trips, or recreational activities like four-wheeling, according to a probable cause affidavit.
