Donald and Nancy Wheeler of Columbus celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner with all the kids, grandkids and great-grandchildren given by their daughters.
Mr. Wheeler and the former Nancy Strietelmeier were married on Jun. 19, 1960, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. V. Paul Heine.
Mr. Wheeler retired from Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Wheeler retired from Special Publications at The Republic.
The couple have three children, Deborah J. (Todd) Burbrink, Pam W. (Larry) Ziliak, Gary J. (Jennifer) Wheeler; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
