• Joe Biden who will bring class, honesty, and dignity to the office of president and begin the process of healing and unity for our nation.

• the wonderful people who are supporting each other with kindness and love during this epidemic including my husband Steve who has helped my dad with fixer-uppers at his home.

• big box stores for protecting our health and lives by requiring wearing masks.

• the niece for exposing the truth.

• Walmart and Sam’s Club for requiring customers to wear face masks starting Monday.

• elected officials who find a moral compass and speak out about Russian bounty payments.

• Doug and Diane for the Georgia peaches, from Dad and Mom.

• the large United Methodist Churches that pulled away from that organization.

• Joe, Nathan and the crew at Columbus Cycling on 16th Street for treating their customers like gold and going the extra mile to care for them, from Roger and Candice.

• my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and all their friends, my FCC church family, and my friends from a long way back, for calls and cards making my 92nd birthday so special, from Imogene.

• people who can’t see the solution to a virus, bad weather and school shootings is eLearning.

• leaders who spread misinformation instead of listening to scientists to protect the public.

• people who have forgotten we are America, we will not cower and hide in fear from any enemy and we are not a nation of victims.

• a society that needs to start ignoring the easily offended.

• this “woke” crowd that needs to wake up.

• city officials for not considering changing the golf course to an ATV park.

• homeschoolers who complain about school reopening plans.

• the school corporation for reopening the schools and risking the lives of teachers, students and parents in spite of increasing cases.

• the federal elected official for letting U.S. citizens down in the war against COVID-19, by playing to his base and ignoring that this virus kills.

• the hospital for not allowing a family member to be with a family member who was admitted.

• the federally elected official and administration attempting to use schools and our children as political pawns.

• people complaining about cell phone use — rioting and looting are illegal too.

• the letter writer talking about being civil but is anything but in his letter.

• the federal elected official endangering thousands with rallies, opening schools without regard to students’ safety, so he can sell the charade that everything is good before the election.

• the official who wants to close the golf course.

• people complaining about opening schools when the virus numbers go higher and higher, proving the lockdowns and masks did no good at all.

• the local church rehearsing and presenting a musical during the pandemic and just before school is supposed to start.

• people who are afraid to send kids to school yet are sending them to hockey and soccer camp and weekend tournaments.

• the columnist who takes the road of easy virtue points but says very little.

• tracking cell phone data.

• the federal elected official for using the word “hoax” to describe information gathered by our country’s intelligence officials when the information turns out to be true.

• the truck going well above the posted speed limit who had to honk at me when I pulled out from a side street.

• the politicians whose only concern is to fill their back pockets — they need to enforce laws and clean up the drugs and the crime and stop playing with our money.

• local grocers and stores making customer’s pay up an order for them to figure out their change shortage.
