Steve B. Eubanks, 57, of Columbus, passed away at 7:51 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Steve was born July 20, 1963, in Cythiana, Kentucky, the son of Bradley Gene and Naomi Jean Wilson Eubanks. On September 26, 1987 he married Wendy Ogle.
He owned Steve’s Wrecker Service for 27 years. Steve loved towing cars and meeting new people along the way. He also loved to talk and did he ever talk! He will be remembered as a prankster and found enjoyment picking on others. Steve enjoyed tinkering and spending time in the outdoors. He could never sit still for too long.
Survivors include his wife of over 32 years, Wendy; brothers, Bruce (Suzanne) Eubanks, Philip (Donita) Eubanks, both of Columbus, Todd (Bobbi) Eubanks of Hendricks County, Indiana, Greg (Christy) Eubanks of Hope; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; special people, Jake Love and Leeanna Hoover; mother-in-law, Delilah Ogle and sister-in-law, Missy (Mike) Polly, also of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Richard Ogle; grandparents, Floyd and Garnetta Eubanks, Parry and Maude Wilson.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Rev. Timothy Streeval officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
