BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. plans to close a portion of State Road 58 Wednesday to complete two small structure replacements. The road will close west of I-65 through late September between County Road 400W and County Road 500W in Bartholomew County.
The official detour will follow County Road 450S/Southern Crossing/County Road 400S to U.S. 31 to U.S. 50 to State Road 11 to State Road 258. Local access will be maintained up to the point of closure. The $793,000 contract is expected to be complete by Sept. 30.
Motorists should slow down, watch for stopped traffic and drive distraction-free through all work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
