Columbus Signature Academy New Tech High School was identified as one of the five best examples of new learning environments in the U.S. and United Kingdom in the book, “21st Century Skills: Rethinking How Students Learn,” and a student project at the school, “Access Denied,” was named one of the nation’s top three New Tech projects.

Filtration problems were thought to be the culprit when a high bacteria count forced the temporary closing of the pool at Foundation for Youth.

A 25-man Brown County posse aided by a helicopter and a search dog scoured the hills near Grandview Lake for a former Nashville tavern owner being sought in the shooting death of his estranged wife.
