COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus City Utilities has issued an emergency precautionary boil water advisory for customers on Cayman Court from Cottonwood Drive to terminus. This precautionary measure is necessary due to an emergency water leak that is under repairs.
Customers are asked to boil cooking and drinking water for five minutes until notified that the water has passed laboratory testing. The boil water advisory is now in effect and customers will be notified when the order is lifted.
Customers who have provided phone numbers to the utility will receive robocalls. All customers affected will receive a door hanger notice prior to, and upon completion of the testing.
There will be a temporary water outage beginning around 9 a.m. today due to emergency repairs being made.
