After a renovation and restoration to its 1942 appearance, the former Atterbury Air Base chapel at Columbus Municipal Airport was to be renamed the Jeanne Lewellen Norbeck Chapel in memory of the former Columbus resident who died test piloting a plane as a member of the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots in 1944.
