June A. Terry, 84, of Columbus, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
June was born June 8, 1936, in Warwick, England, the daughter of Leonard and Sarah Knight Souch. On December 22, 1978, she married Robert J. Terry, the love of her life.
She was know as the “supervisor” for her husband, Bob, and his wood working projects. June also helped her husband run their business, as secretary, for Gift Box Corporation of America. June loved family and spending time at the lake. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, traveling and tea. Bob and June were truly a team and loved one another immensely. She especially loved her cat, Maizy.
Survivors include her children, Carl (Sun) Workman of Daegu, South Korea; Jennifer Workman of Newnan, Georgia, Michele Wyatt of Columbus; step-son, Michael (Maho) Indigo of Miazaki, Japan; step-daughter, Anne (Phil) Falk of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Christine (Marty) Mauthe, Jessica (Rusty) Conover, Keith (Amanda) Workman, Heather (Scott) Romine, Bryanna Wyatt; step-grandchildren, Naomi Falk, Matthew Falk; great-grandchildren, Jack Workman, Maggie Workman, Eli Conover, Glenn Conover, Mason Romine, Kinsey Romine, Ty Romine and Michael Indigo, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Workman; son, Eugene Workman; grandson, Bryan Workman and brother, Brian Souch.
In keeping with the family’s request cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Dennis W. Aud officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
