After several decades in Columbus Center, a discount retailer has moved into a former supermarket building in Clover Center.
Big Lots is now occupying the building at 3075 E. 25th St. that had housed Marsh Hometown Market for several years.
Although the 27,934 square-foot facility is already serving customers, a grand opening is scheduled for Aug. 29.
The larger space will allow Big Lots to introduce a redesigned store format, according to Joice Wirkus, senior vice president of marketing for the Columbus, Ohio-based retail chain. For more on this story, see Friday’s Republic.
