East wins tri match
SEYMOUR — Peyton Meier carded a personal-best 40 to lead Columbus East to a tri-match win Monday at Shadowood.
The Olympians finished with a 165 team total. Seymour took second with a 216, and Clarksville was third with a 230.
Harley Gant and Carter Gant each shot 41 for East. Katie Hong added a 43, Cristen Martinez had a 49 and Lilly Steinwedel finished with a 53.
Cubs top Panthers
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County put three golfers in the 40s, but fell to Madison 175-192 at St. Anne’s.
Alexis Carson led the Panthers with a 41. Sophia Curry carded a 43, Lauren Galvan added a 49, Emma Jones shot 59 and Emma Kirchner had a 68.
South Decatur plays
SHELBYVILLE — South Decatur and Morristown met at River’s Edge, but each team had only three golfers, one fewer than the number needed to score as a team.
Karmie Owens and Tiffany Owens each shot 68 to lead the Cougars. Joy Tryon added a 72.

East edges Oldenburg
Columbus East pulled out a pair of three-set wins to claim a 3-2 victory against Oldenburg Academy.
Daniel Murphy beat Riley Schebler 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 at No. 2 singles for the Olympians (2-3). Derek Heideman and Matthew Degner downed Jacob Sheets and Patrick Thompson 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Carlos Fernandez and Erik Takahashi topped Hunter Schuckmann and Ethan Back 7-6 (1), 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
East’s Pranav Kumar fell to Michael Wanstrath at No. 1 singles, and Emmit Romine lost to Jon Grieshop at No. 3 singles, both by 6-1, 6-0 scores.

Crusaders sweep ICA
ANDERSON — Columbus Christian stayed unbeaten with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-11 win at Indiana Christian Academy.
Hannah Stair recorded 10 kills, seven digs and two aces; Madison Henderson notched five kills, six digs and 10 aces and Emily Stair had two kills, 13 assists, one block assist, 11 digs and five aces to lead the Crusaders (3-0).
Also for Columbus Christian, Lila Hudson posted four kills one block and one block assist, one dig and one ace. Kayla Jones tallied one kill and nine digs, Isabella VanCuren pounded two kills and Kinidy Morgan added two digs.
Cougars win in 3
CROTHERSVILLE — South Decatur rolled in the first set and cruised from there to a 25-6, 25-11, 25-14 victory at Crothersville.
Lana Bell and Brook Somers each pounded six kills for the Cougars (4-5). Savannah Bushhorn and Megan Manlief each added three kills.

Columbus Christian falls
ANDERSON — Indiana Christian Academy jumped out to a 4-1 halftime lead and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 7-1 defeat.
Ethan Nickerson scored the goal for the Crusaders (1-3-1). Garrett Spurgeon recorded eight saves.
