COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police arrested a local man in a traffic stop Monday who was wanted on five warrants.
At about 4:50 p.m. Monday, an officer stopped a vehicle near Washington Street and Tipton Lane for a speeding violation, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department.
Police determined that a passenger in the vehicle, Devin T. Fields, 22, of 5982 E. 25th St., had five local warrants for his arrest. Fields was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail on the warrants.
Fields’ bond was set at $5,485, jail officials said.
