Bull Dogs prevail
BLOOMINGTON — Class 3A No. 11 Columbus North was held scoreless for 51 minutes, but then scored three times in the next 6 1/2 minutes and posted a 3-1 Conference Indiana win at Bloomington North.
Alexa McKinley scored the first two goals for the Bull Dogs (9-1, 3-0) off assists from Laney Moore. Jenna Lang added an unassisted goal.
Columbus North outshot the Cougars 27-2. Mallory Gilley recorded one save.
East blanks Pioneers
CLARKSVILLE — After a scoreless first half, Columbus East put up three goals in the second half to post a 3-0 win at Class A No. 7 Providence.
Abby Miller had two of the goals, and Alana Dwenger added a goal and an assist for the Olympians (6-4). Sydney Berkemeier had an assist.
East outshot the Pioneers 28-2. Anna Liimatta posted one save.
Eagles score in loss
BEDFORD — Tori Klaker scored Brown County’s first goal of the season, but the Eagles fell 8-1 at Bedford North Lawrence.
Sarah Callahan recorded 22 saves for Brown County (0-6).
Trinity tops Scottsburg
SEYMOUR — Scottsburg outshot Trinity Lutheran 13-12, but Kailene Cockerham netted a pair of goals to give the Cougars a 2-0 victory.
Emma Myers and Sarah Lemming had assists for Trinity (4-1). Genesis Munoz posted 14 saves.

Crusaders stay perfect
Columbus Christian ran its record to 9-0 with a 25-12, 25-7, 25-8 Southern Roads Conference win against Medora.
Madison Henderson recorded nine kills, four digs and seven aces; Hannah Stair notched eight kills, nine digs and three aces; Emily Stair tallied three kills, 16 assists, five digs and three aces and Kayla Jones had five digs and eight aces to lead the Crusaders (9-0, 3-0).
Also for Columbus Christian, Lila Hudson added two kills, one solo and one assist block and one dig. Kinidy Morgan contributed two kills, four digs and one ace and Kenna Conrad had one block assist.
Jet reaches milestone
SEYMOUR — Aunaka Wasil recorded 20 assists to go over the 2,000-assist mark for her career, but Hauser fell 25-12, 25-22, 25-16 at Seymour.
Hannah Johnson and Charlie Clark each notched seven kills one ace, and Johnson had one block to lead the Jets (7-2). Andie Clark tallied 19 digs.
Also for Hauser, Wasil added five kills and 12 digs, and Charlie Clark had three assists and 12 digs. Andie Clark also had three assists, and Kyra Meister contributed eight digs.
Lancers down Chargers
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh picked up its first Mid-Hoosier Conference win of the season, a 25-16, 25-23, 25-21 victory against North Decatur.
Gracie Crawhorn led the Lancers (5-12, 1-3) with two blocks and eight digs. Carly Cowan pounded five kills, Alyssa Funkhouser recorded nine assists and Callie Hancock served five aces.
Also for Edinburgh, Crawhorn tallied four kills, and Jessica Walsh added three assists, seven digs and one ace. Bethany Burton pounded 3 kills, Hancock posted five digs and Cowan had one assist and three digs.
Cougars sweep Cubs
MADISON — Class A No. 1 Trinity Lutheran cruised to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-13 win at Madison.
Kamzi Gross led the Cougars (16-3) with 14 digs and one ace. Kennedy Hoffman pounded 15 kills, and Bailey Reynolds recorded 36 assists.
Also for Trinity, Sydney Jaynes notched 12 kills, and Bailey Tabeling added eight kills.

Columbus Christian falls
HENRYVILLE — Columbus Christian got a goal from Nathan DeFriece, but lost 9-1 at Henryville.
The Hornets outshot the Crusaders (1-5-1) 21-4. Garrett Spurgeon played the first 69 minutes in goal and recorded 12 saves, and Bryce Young posted two saves over the final 11 minutes.
Lions edge Cougars
SALEM — Trinity Lutheran led 2-1 early in the second half, but Salem rallied for a 3-2 victory.
Zephyr Wilson and Connor Sims scored goals of the Cougars (1-5), who outshot the Lions 30-23. Peyton Pollert posted 20 saves.

Warriors stop Panthers
SCOTTSBURG — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles match, but Scottsburg took the other four to hand the Panthers a 4-1 defeat.
Owen Law beat Ryan Gibson (S) 7-5, 6-3 for Jennings (3-8).
The Panthers’ Connor Euler fell to Eli Carr 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Isaac Lightner lost to David Gaffney 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Jacob Vogel and Greyson Jackson fell to Cole Atha and Jace Watson 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Gage Gasper and Ryan Schuck lost to Blake Drury and Joe Neace 7-6 (4), 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
Owls shut out Lancers
EDINBURGH — Seymour won four matches in straight sets in a 5-0 win at Edinburgh.
Max Blandford fell to Hunter Heckman 6-0, 7-5 at No. 1 singles, Travis Jones lost to Reuben Kruse 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Chase Littlejohn fell to Drew Handloser 3-6, 6-0, (10-5) for the Lancers (4-4).
Edinburgh’s Cash Cunningham and Ian Buchanan lost to Brandon Hubbard and Andrew Levine 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Trevor Moon and Braedyn Johnson fell to Eli Meyer and Joe Schmidt 6-1,6-0 at No. 2 doubles.

NORTH VERNON — Sophia Curry won medalist honors with a 41, but Jennings County fell to Seymour 207-213 at St. Anne’s.
Alexis Carson added a 45 for the Panthers. Emma Jones shot 61, and Emma Kirchner had a 66.
