BLOOMINGTON — No. 13 Columbus North clinched at least a tie for the Conference Indiana title Tuesday with a 4-1 win at No. 25 Bloomington South.
Nathan Lin beat Michael Asplund 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Matthew Liu downed Chris Lian 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Joseph Kloepfer topped John Beggs 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (8-1, 3-0). Luke Enneking and Eric Stavnheim defeated Sahil Desai and Evan Kantor 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
North’s Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram fell to Marcel Borhi and Ethan Uhls 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Jets down Jackets
HOPE — Hauser picked up its first Mid-Indiana Conference win of the season, a 4-1 triumph against Morristown.
Caleb Wallace beat Noah Klinger 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, and Eli Miller downed Tyler Schonfeld 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 singles for the Jets (3-7, 1-2). Caleb Hoover and Levi Gollmer topped Jacob Wood and Shane Riley 6-1, 7-6 at No. 1 doubles, and Carson Rose and Dawson Paul defeated Jerry Riley and Nick Owens 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Hauser’s Noah Estes fell to Grant Kessler 7-6, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Tigers blank Lancers
EDINBURGH — Triton Central won four matches in straight sets in a 5-0 win at Edinburgh.
Max Blandford fell to Caleb Anderson 6-3, 7-5 at No. 1 singles, Travis Jones lost to Alex Crouse 6-2, 4-6, (10-7) at No. 2 singles and Chase Littlejohn fell to Ryder Goul 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (4-5).
Edinburgh’s Cash Cunningham and Ian Buchanan lost to Jack Baker and Quintin Potts 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Trevor Moon and Braedyn Johnson fell to Avram Rund and Jared Schweitzer 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Olympians sweep Stars
BEDFORD — Columbus East gave first-year coach Ellyn McIntosh her first true victory with a 25-7, 25-8, 25-14 win at Bedford North Lawrence. McIntosh returned last week after missing the first eight matches while on maternity leave.
Katy Jordan recorded 25 assists and two solo blocks, and Cadence Gilley had 19 digs and 10 aces to lead the Olympians (6-4). Lexia Capes pounded eight kills.
Also for East, Gabby Dean notched five kills, and Reece Whitehead, Megan Tracy and Jordan all added four kills. Libby Dippold had one solo and two assist blocks, Kenzie Foster tallied 11 digs and Capes and Tracy each contributed nine digs.
Jets best Eagles in 4
NASHVILLE — Hauser and Brown County split the first two sets, but the Jets took the final two to come away with a 25-13, 19-25, 25-23, 25-15 victory.
Hannah Johnson led the Jets (8-2) with 17 kills and five blocks. Aunaka Wasil recorded 42 assists, Andie Clark notched 29 digs and Adriana Musillami served three aces.
Also for Hauser, Charlie Clark posted 10 kills, two blocks and 20 digs; Marnie Schwartzkopf tallied seven kills and two aces and Adriana Musillami added two assists and nine digs. Kenzie Bostic pounded eight kills and one block, Stephanie Meek had three kills and one block, Andie Clark contributed two assists, Wasil had a two blocks and Johnson posted eight digs and one ace.
For the Eagles (6-7), Lauren Akles pounded 11 kills, Abigail Bowman recorded 18 assists, Londyn Koester notched 21 digs and Emma Lucas served six aces. Abigail Watson added five kills.
Crusaders move to 10-0
BLOOMINGTON — Columbus Christian ran its record to 10-0 with a 25-13, 25-10, 25-19 win at Bloomington Lighthouse.
Hannah Stair recorded 11 kills, three digs and seven aces; Madison Henderson notched seven kills, one dig and two aces and Emily Stair had two kills, 19 assists, seven digs and three aces to lead the Crusaders.
Also for Columbus Christian, Kayla Jones posted 15 digs and two aces; and Lila Hudson added four kills, one block, one dig and two aces. Kinidy Morgan contributed one kill, seven digs and three aces; and Isabella VanCuren pounded two kills and one block.

Jets fall to Pirates
GREENSBURG — Hauser stayed competitive in a 3-1 loss to Greensburg.
Aleck Lopez scored the goal for the Jets (3-5-2) off an assist from Cameron Scott. Carter Scott recorded six saves.
Columbus Christian falls
BLOOMINGTON — Columbus Christian trailed only 2-0 at halftime, but Bloomington Lighthouse pulled away for a 6-0 victory.
The Lions outshot the Crusaders (1-6-1) 13-1. Garrett Spurgeon played the first 65 minutes in goal posted six saves, and Bryce Young added one save over the final 15 minutes.
Eagles get first win
SPENCER — Playing for the first time in two weeks after being in quarantine, Brown County picked up its first win of the season, a 4-0 Western Indiana Conference victory at Owen Valley.
Cameron Payne netted three goals and one assist, and Ricky Stanley added one goal and two assists for the Eagles, (1-3, 1-1), who outshot the Patriots 16-5. Wyatt Fox recorded four saves.

Lancers top Woodmen
GREENWOOD — Edinburgh picked up a 209-224 win against Greenwood at Valle Vista.
Morgan Calhoun led the Lancers with a 46. Annelise Lollar added a 51, Serenity Smith and Izzy Richardson each shot 56, and Jillian Turner had a 65.

Twisters topple Trinity
SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran saw its four-game winning streak come to an end with a 3-1 loss to Class A No. 12 Oldenburg Academy.
Sarah Lemming scored off an assist from Flossie Cooper for the Cougars (1-3, 1-1), who were outshot 19-1. Genesis Munoz posted 16 saves.
