Tickets for the Bartholomew County Historical Society’s Annual Open Door Tour: Open Gates from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today outdoors at six local gardens are still available. Tickets are $25, available at the historical society museum at 524 Third St. in Columbus, Viewpoint Books at 548 Washington St., and online at bartholomewhistory.org.
The sites are: The Miller Garden, 2760 Highland Way; North Christian Church grounds, 850 Tipton Lane; Columbus City Cemetery, Sycamore Street; Inn at Irwin Gardens, 608 Fifth St.; Gardens at the Henry Breeding Farm, 13730 N. County Road 100W near Edinburgh; Hamilton House Garden, 322 Tipton Lane (property of Enkei America).
