Randall W. Bobb, 83, passed away on Wednesday morning September 24, 2020 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Randall was born August 3rd, 1937 in Seymour, IN and married his wife, Loretta Noblitt, on October 7th, 1961 in Columbus, IN, they have been married for 58 years.

Randall worked at Cummins Engine Company as a tool and die engineer for 33 years until he retired in 1985. He served in the Indiana Army National Guard as a sergeant for four years. He was a sportsman who enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, and trap shooting. He was a champion trap shooter and a lifetime member of the Columbus Gun Club. He was a member of Ogilville United Methodist Church, where he served as trustee and financial administrator. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Randall Bobb is survived by his wife, Loretta Bobb; his sister, Saundra (Larry) Phelps of Columbus, Indiana; his children, Douglas R. Bobb of Seymour, Indiana and Trina (Ed) Schroeder of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Garrett “The Pill” Zimmerman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sydney (George) Dirling of Davenport, Florida, Keegan Zimmerman of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mendan Bobb of Indianapolis, Indiana; and great- grandchild, Knox Dirling of Davenport, Florida.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Ogilville United Methodist Church; the Reverend Paul Huntsman will officiate. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Mr. Bobb will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Ogilville. Military honors will be provided by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Ogilville United Methodist Church.
