Lion’s Club coat drive begins Nov. 2

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Columbus Lions Club’s annual coat drive will be Nov. 2 to Nov. 25, the organization’s leaders have announced.

Good, gently used coats can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • DJ’s Cleaners at 4270 W. Jonathan Moore Pike
  • Hour Glass Laundry at 2317 Cottage Ave.
  • Horizon House homeless shelter
  • Salvation Army headquarters, 2525 Illinois Ave.
  • Turning Point Domestic Violence Services in the Doug Otto Center, 1531 13th St.

Last year, the drive resulted in more than 450 coats for needy families, according to organizers. Information: The Lions Club’s Jerry Simo at 812-343-1645.
