INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 1,766 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories.
To date, a total of 152,396 Indiana residents are known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
A total of 3,790 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 15 from the previous day. Another 233 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 1,581,109 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,572,350 on Tuesday. A total of 2,574,800 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
Bartholomew County reported 1,397 positive tests (no change) with 58 deaths (no change) on Wednesday. The ISDH did not provide any new testing numbers for the county.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 1,094 positive cases (up eight) with 13 deaths (no change).
Jennings County: 360 positive cases (no change) with 13 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 499 positive cases (up one) with 39 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 803 positive cases (up 10) with 30 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 3,051 positive cases (up 56) with 128 deaths (no change).
Brown County: 130 positive cases (no change) with three deaths (no change).

The testing site in Columbus is located in FairOaks Mall at the former JC Penney location.
The Bartholomew Health Department and Windrose Health Network is also offering free COVID-19 testing.
Dates and times may vary, with evening and Saturday appointments available. The phone number is 812-379-1555, Option 1.
Testing will be available to all members of the public regardless of symptoms. Children as young as 2 years of age can be tested with parental consent.
Windrose Health Network is located at 911 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Windrose will also be utilizing a mobile unit at its Hope location. Windrose may be contacted at 317-680-9901.
