JACKSON COUNTY — Due to an overturned vehicle on I-65 at the 35 mile marker in southern Jackson County, the I-65 southbound lanes are currently closed at Exit 36.
Indiana State Police said southbound traffic is backed up nearly four miles on the interstate. Traffic is being diverted on to U.S. 31 towards Austin at Exit 36.
State police advise motorists to avoid the area if possible.
