This is a note of thanks.

In this time of unrest, sorrow, and uncertainty, I just wanted to say thank you to Columbus.

2020 has been a rough year. It is one that none of us will soon forget. As that is said, it should also be one of gratitude.

Be thankful for being here on earth. Be thankful that your feet hit the floor of a morning and lay on your pillow at night.

Yes, people can be hurt at the losses we all have experienced, but just remember that everyone has experienced some kind of lose this year. So be kind.

That is all I want for the holidays this year is for people to be kind. That is the one thing I miss most in 2020 is the kindness.

People can’t see my smile behind my mask when I am in the store, but I still smile.

I try to relay that smile with my eyes but not sure it comes across, so this is my way of smiling at Columbus and saying happy holidays to all.
