Mary E. Black, 84 of Greensburg passed away at 8:36 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor Nursing Home at Hope. She was born in Anderson on November 24, 1936, the daughter of Bernard Leo and Ellen Lucille (Hill) Mudd. She was raised in Anderson and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School in 1954. She lived in Greensburg for over 40 years and retired from BCA Federal Mogal. She enjoyed baking with her grandchildren, crafts, sewing, gardening, feeding hummingbirds and gathering sea shells when in Florida. She married Elmer Lee Black in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on July 21, 1969. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (John) Cilento of Plainview, New York and Catherine (David) Ralston of Columbus; her step daughter, Sharon K. (Skip) Clark of Columbus; her step son, Linden L. Black of Wetmore, Michigan; her seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Mudd and her grandson, Dana Clark. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Westport Cemetery. We ask that visitors to the service follow social distancing guidelines and masks will be required.
