North downs Panthers

BLOOMINGTON — Emily Moore won all four individual events and the all-around competition Thursday to lead Columbus North to a 107.525-100.35 win at Bloomington South.

Moore captured the vault (9.525), bars (9.325), beam (9.75) and floor (9.175) on her way to a 37.725 all-around score for the Bull Dogs, who swept the top four places in the all-around.

Lindsey Mullis finished second in the all-around with a 35.3. She was second on the bars (9.15) and beam (8.85) and third on the floor (8.85).

Madi Edwards took third in the all-around with a 33.425. She was second on the vault (9.0) and third on the bars (8.625).

Abby Jacobi placed fourth on the floor (8.575) and in the all-around (32.875).

North scored a 26.975 on the vault, 27.1 on the bars, 26.85 on the beam and 26.6 on the floor.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Jets fall to Bears

SHELBYVILLE — Hauser closed its regular season with an 82-32 loss at Shelbyville.

Kyliegh Parrott scored 10 points to lead the Jets (8-14). Hauser coach Chad Evans played mostly JV players in the second half to keep his varsity healthy for next week’s Waldron Sectional.

Chargers top Lancers

GREENSBURG — Edinburgh led 8-6 after one quarter, but was outscored 19-2 in the second period and couldn’t recover in a 49-44 Mid-Hoosier Conference loss at North Decatur.

Annelise Lollar led the Lancers (6-11, 2-4) with 18 points. Callie Hancock and Gracie Crawhorn each added 10.

Cougars edge Cubs

SEYMOUR — Class A No. 3 Trinity Lutheran held on for a 63-61 victory against Madison to close the regular season.

Sydney Jaynes led the Cougars (18-4) with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Tabeling scored 22 points, and Kailene Cockerham added eight.
