Jets fall to Royals

CHARLOTTESVILLE — Eastern Hancock jumped out to a 43-15 halftime lead Saturday and went on to hand Hauser an 89-45 defeat.

Koby Johnson and Clayton West each scored 10 points to lead the Jets (8-11).

Jennings takes loss

BLOOMINGTON — Jennings County was tied with Bloomington South 5-5 after one quarter, but Bloomington South pulled away for a 51-40 victory.

Carson McNulty led Jennings (10-9) with 14 points. Owen Law added nine.

Vikings down Braves

NASHVILLE — West Vigo handed Brown County its 11th consecutive loss, a 53-40 Western Indiana Conference decision.

Travis Ely led the Eagles (1-11, 0-9) with 16 points. Carter Kelly added nine.

Madison tops Trinity

MADISON — Trinity Lutheran was within 19-17 after one quarter, but Madison pulled away for an 82-57 victory.

Tyler Goecker led the Cougars (7-13) with 16 points. Jacob Sabotin scored 14, Jack Marksberry addded 11 and Hudson Norton had nine.

Panthers take fifth

FLOYDS KNOBS — Jennings County finished fifth with 119 points in the Floyd Central Sectional. The host Highlanders won with 432.

Daniel Hoffman finished seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 9.09 seconds for the Panthers. Jennings finished fourth in the 200 medley relay (1:52.92) and fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:45.12).
