Crusaders top Laurel
Columbus Christian avenged a loss from earlier in the season with a 71-64 win Monday night against Laurel Christian.
The Crusaders (19-14) trailed 28-27 at halftime. But Gabe Ridder scored nine of his team-high 24 points, and Columbus Christian hit three 3-pointers in third quarter to take control.
“We got our second wind in the third quarter, which helped,” Columbus Christian coach Kevin Roth said.
Jacob Conrad added 13 points for the Cruasders. Cody Kiefer had nine.
Panthers down Cubs
NORTH VERNON — Jennings County made 11 3-pointers in snapping a three-game losing streak with a 61-42 win against Franklin.
Carson McNulty led the Panthers (11-9) with 15 points. Darius Thomas scored 12, and Trey Wilson added nine.
