EDINBURGH — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of County Line Road (County Road 800E) over I-65 near Edinburgh in southeastern Johnson County beginning on or after Monday, April 5, for a bridge deck overlay project.
The bridge is scheduled to close for up to 120 days, through early August, with a detour that will follow County Road 550S to County Road 700E to County Road 400S.
The $800,000 contract was awarded in September 2020 to HIS Constructors and is expected to be complete by Aug. 28.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
