Marlins top Lancers
EDINBURGH — Edinburgh outhit Living Water HomeSchool 12-10 Friday, but the Marlins took advantage of five Lancer errors to post an 11-6 victory.
Kyah Streeval went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple to lead Edinburgh (1-1) at the plate. Morgan Calhoun went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Mackenzie Whetstine went 2 for 4 and Kaitlyn Bailey went 2 for 5.

Lancers fall to Cubs
MADISON — Edinburgh opened its season with a 4-1 loss at Madison.
Bethany Burton had the win for the Lancers, beating Trinity Stoner 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Annelise Lollar fell to Kourtney Neukam 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Jessica Walsh lost to Grace Pittman 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Edinburgh’s Peyton Bryant and Zoey Sida fell to Erin Burkhart and Blanca Alaman 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Gracie Myers and Liza Henderson lost to Addison Mundt and Riley Poling 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
