Duncan, Schenk fire 63, move into tie for sixth

AVONDALE, La. — Tyler Duncan and his partner Adam Schenk carded a 9-under-par 63 in Saturday’s four-ball format to move into a tie for sixth place heading into today’s final round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, had four birdies, and Schenk had five birdies. They tied for the best round of the day.

Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel lead the event at 19-under 197, one shot better than the Marc Leishman-Cameron Smith and Cameron Champ-Tony Finau duos. Bubba Watson-Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland-Kris Ventura are two back at 17-under 199, and Duncan and Schenk are among three teams tied at 16-under 200.

Today’s final round will feature alternate-shot play.
