COLUMBUS
Terry R. Burger, 74, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mr. Burger was born April 18, 1947, in Sullivan, Indiana, the son of Raymond and Ina Jennings Burger.
He married Loretta A. Rankin March 9, 1968.
Terry retired in 2010 from the U.S. Postal Service,
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Army National Guard and Army Reserve.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #741, Columbus Moose Lodge #398 and American Legion Post #24.
He enjoyed golf.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; daughters, Tracy (Brad) Williamson of Nashville and Tiffany (Eddie) Willis of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Brayden Cosby, Kennedy Cosby, Kaelynn Cosby, Jake (Ashlee) Willis, Sam Willis and Joey Willis; and 2 great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Burger.
In keeping with the families wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
