CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tyler Duncan carded a 1-over-par 72 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 73rd place in the Wells Fargo Championship.
Duncan shot a 3-over-38 on the front and a 2-under 34 on the back at Quail Hallow.
Phil Mickelson leads the tournament at 7-under 64. Two players are tied for second at 5-under 66.
