The Bartholomew County 911 Communications Center has been advised that 911 services for customers in the Hope area have been interrupted. Residents in the Hope area may not be able to contact emergency dispatchers when calling from a landline. Cellular service to 911 should not be impacted.
Those individuals that need to speak with 911 emergency dispatcher and are unable to make contact should call the non-emergency number at 812-379-1689.
Officials with AT&T have dispatched technicians to the scene. There is currently no estimated time of repair, according to dispatchers.
