Volunteers prepare for Friday’s Day of Caring

COLUMBUS, Ind. — United Way of Bartholomew County’s Day of Caring on Friday includes 250 volunteers and 31 local projects.

Local residents will be building accessibility ramps, installing playground equipment, painting, planting flowers, cleaning up along riverbanks, weeding and mulching and more.

The annual outreach is a full-day event that connects local businesses and community members with non-profit and residential volunteer projects in Bartholomew County.

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are involved.
