Accident closes down U.S. 31 near Henry Lakes Boulevard

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A portion of U.S. 31 near Henry Lakes Boulevard was shut down Sunday night for about 45 minutes after two cars collided in the intersection at 9:31 p.m.

Investigators said a 2010 Toyota driven by Amber Burns, 23, Columbus collided with a van riven by Leal Seliciano, 48, Seymour at the intersection. Both vehicles sustained front end damage in the collision. No serious injuries were reported.

Seliciano was cited for operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license, Bartholomew County Sheriff Deputies said.
